We are located on the south coast of Sri Lanka between Galle and Matara. The villa is 2.5 hours/165km south of Bandaranaike International Airport.

All international flights arrive into Bandaranaike International Airport, which is situated just north of Colombo. The drive from the airport to Kiripalu takes 2.5 hours. We can organise taxi transfers for you.

Use our booking form on this page to check rates, availability and to make your booking. We’ll need a 50% deposit to make the booking and require the balance 30 days before you arrive as confirmation. Everything else will be arranged and paid for when you are with us.

Yes, check in is at 2pm and check out is at noon. We are aware that many flights arrive into Sri Lanka during the night, therefore you can arrive at any time but there will be an additional charge. If you require a late check out, please speak to our villa manager and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.

Yes, we welcome guests of all ages. With a large garden and swimming pool, Kiripalu is ideal for families. We have a travel cot available for use.

Yes, there is free WiFi throughout the property.

We have international plug points and also have adapter plugs available for use.

Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) can be obtained from ATMs in Ahangama and other nearby towns. Banks in Galle and Matara have authorised currency exchange counters, and there is also the option to convert cash at the airport when you arrive.

All meals are prepared by our experienced chef. For breakfast, you can choose between the Western option, which includes fresh fruit, curd, eggs and toast, or the Sri Lankan one which includes string hoppers/hoppers/bread, curries, sambol and eggs. For lunch and dinner, you can select from our menu. Kiripalu specials include fresh, locally caught seafood and Sri Lankan rice and curry.

Air-conditioned rooms with fans, WiFi, a beautiful tropical garden with a 13m swimming pool, a comfortable indoor/outdoor lounge/dining area and outdoor seating areas.

Swimwear, beachwear, a beach towel, light clothing, a scarf/shawl to cover your shoulders if you visit a temple, a sun hat, suncream, mosquito repellent and a personal first aid kit.

There are liquor shops in the local towns of Ahangama and Habaraduwa, as well as in Galle and Matara.
